George Giovas

George is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of Axius Partners Pty Limited. He has over 30 year’s experience in Banking & Finance, and Investment Management in both Australia and the Asian region. George has established relationships with Ultra High Net Worth/Family Offices, Listed Australian Corporations and Institutional Investors in both Australia and Asia.

He has extensive experience in Global Debt and Capital markets, Real Estate Financing and Capital solutions. George has excellent relationships with many UHNW families and has established relationships with Institutional Investors, Wealth Managers and Private Banks.

Prior to establishing Axius Partners George was Global Head of Real Estate at ANZ (Australian domiciled regional bank). He was employed at ANZ for 23 years and previous senior roles included, Head of Institutional Property, Executive Director – Property and Construction Finance and Director – Telco, Media and Entertainment.

In addition to his role at Axius Partners, George is also a current Board and Investment Committee Member of an Australian equities boutique Funds Manager – Selector Funds Management.

George holds a Master of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of NSW, a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Industrial Relations) from Wollongong University. He is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
